Refund & Returns Policy

Human-Use Refund Clause: Any order will be immediately cancelled and fully refunded if ResearchPure receives communication through any channel indicating intent to administer any product to a human or animal. Records of such communications are retained for two (2) or more years.

1. General Returns Policy

Due to the nature of biochemical reference standards and laboratory research materials — including temperature sensitivity, sterility requirements, and regulatory considerations — ResearchPure generally does not accept returns of opened or used products. However, we will issue refunds or replacements in the specific circumstances described in this policy.

2. Eligible Refund and Replacement Circumstances

ResearchPure will issue a full refund or replacement for orders in the following situations:

  • Damaged in transit: Product received in a damaged or compromised condition due to shipping. Must be reported within 48 hours of delivery with photographic documentation.
  • Incorrect product shipped: The product received does not match the product ordered (wrong compound, wrong size, wrong lot). Must be reported within 5 business days of delivery.
  • Lost shipment: The shipment is confirmed lost by the carrier after investigation. Report must be submitted after the expected delivery window has passed.
  • Product does not meet COA specifications: If independent analytical testing by a qualified laboratory demonstrates that the product fails to meet the purity or identity specifications listed on the Certificate of Analysis. Written analytical data from a qualified laboratory must be provided within 30 days of receipt.
  • Order cancelled by ResearchPure: ResearchPure-initiated cancellations (including human-use cancellations and compliance-based cancellations) will be refunded in full.

3. Non-Eligible Returns

The following are not eligible for refund or return:

  • Buyer's remorse or change of mind;
  • Product ordered in error by the buyer (wrong compound, wrong quantity);
  • Product that has been opened or used;
  • Product that has been improperly stored by the buyer (e.g., not kept at specified temperature);
  • Orders where the buyer is dissatisfied with research results — ResearchPure makes no representations regarding research outcomes.

4. Human-Use Cancellation and Refund Clause

Any order — whether pending, in transit, or already delivered — will be cancelled or recalled and fully refunded if ResearchPure receives communication from the buyer, a third party, or any other source through any channel (including email, website chat, social media, phone, or any other medium) indicating an intent to:

  • Administer, inject, ingest, consume, or otherwise introduce any purchased product into a human body;
  • Administer or give any purchased product to an animal;
  • Use any purchased product for therapeutic, clinical, diagnostic, or dietary supplement purposes;
  • Resell any purchased product to a consumer for personal use.

Where product has already been delivered, ResearchPure will require written certification from the buyer that the product has been returned or destroyed according to applicable regulations. Records of all human-use communications are retained for a minimum of two (2) years and may be provided to regulatory or law enforcement authorities as required by applicable law.

5. Refund Process

To request a refund or replacement, contact ResearchPure support at our Contact page or at support@researchpure.com with:

  • Order number;
  • Product catalog number and lot number;
  • Description of the issue;
  • Photographs (for damaged shipments);
  • Analytical data (for COA disputes).

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5–10 business days. Replacement shipments are processed within 3 business days of approval.

6. Cancellations Prior to Shipment

Orders may be cancelled without penalty within two (2) hours of placement. After that, orders may be cancelled only if they have not yet shipped. To request cancellation, contact us immediately at our Contact page.
